Peach-O-Gram 9/12/2014

Hey there sweet family,

Today we’re heading out on the road, albeit not very far, for our first ever Farm Aid at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. Walnut Creek is about 25 miles from our little country oasis. However, if the weather doesn’t do an about face soon we might as well be traveling back in time to Woodstock ’69. Rain and mud, ugh … but it will be worth it to see Gary Clark Jr. (http://www.garyclarkjr.com/gcjlive). Thank you Stan the BBQ Blues Man (https://www.facebook.com/stan.mclaurin) for turning us on to GCJ via your show “The Blues is The Blues is The Blues” Friday nights on WSHA 88.9 FM (http://www.shawu.edu/wsha/home/) !! We love you, man!!

Also on the road is the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The TTB will be all over the country in the coming months. Which one of these stops is closest to your abode?:

Yessss, not a work night – at least for us non-musicians! 😉

Bonus – Scott’s brother, and long-time member of the Peach Corps family, Jon Sawyer is traveling with the band. Jon!!! ((hugs!)) Can’t wait to see you!!! Also excited that you’ll be in NYC to see the Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon when we’re there too!

It was cool to see a lot of you entering our wine giveaway – still 5 days left if you missed it last time – good luck!

And speaking of adult beverages, time to figure out how to sneak some into the Creek w/o getting busted and hit the road …

Take care and know that you are loved,

Lana and Rowland
